About us

Nemes Machine was started in 1985 by the owner, Joeseph Nemes.  Joe left the job he thought he would retire from and took the risk to start his own business.  He bought a few machines and went out in search of work.  He would machine the parts, load them in his car and hand deliver them to his customers.  

A short time later he recruited his daughter, Shelly, to help with the administrative side of the business.  Together they helped grow the business to what is today.  Although Nemes Machine has moved to a bigger facility and has added to their staff, we still offer the same quality and customer service that our business is founded on.

We take pride in being family owned operated since 1985.  We offer precision machining services with the highest quality and competitive prices.

The facility is located in Akron, Ohio at 1069 Evans Avenue.  Our manufacturing plant is 10,000 sq. feet, equipped with machining centers for sawing, turning, milling and inspection.  We offer a small fleet for local pickup and delivery but can ship anywhere in the U.S. via UPS.  We will supply certified materials, heat treating, or plating certifications as required.
